Design Synergy: Bottega Veneta and Cassina's 'On the Rocks' Exhibit

Bottega Veneta, renowned for its masterful leatherwork, presents 'On the Rocks,' an installation that intertwines the artisanal legacy of the brand with the timeless architecture of Le Corbusier. Partnering with Cassina and the Fondation Le Corbusier, Bottega Veneta stages a large-scale exhibit at the Palazzo San Fedele. The show spotlights the exquisite LC14 Tabouret Cabanon stools, first seen at the brand's Winter '24 show, and introduces a new limited-edition stool, dressed in Bottega Veneta’s signature leather craftsmanship. Nature's Murmurs in Design: Nendo's 20th Anniversary Exhibition

Nendo celebrates two decades of influential design with "Whispers of Nature," an evocative solo exhibition at this year's Milan Design Week. Set against the backdrop of a repurposed industrial space by Paola Lenti—destined to become a boutique hotel—this exhibition draws visitors into an intimate dialogue with nature. Featuring five collections inspired by the often unnoticed nuances of our natural world, Nendo translates the ephemeral dance of clouds, the interplay of light and shadow, and the silent passing of time into tangible art forms.


The exhibition is enriched by the reveal of Hana-arashi, a collaboration with Paola Lenti, promising a fusion of innovation and nature's quiet beauty.

Artemest's L'Appartamento: An Italian Craftsmanship Journey

Artemest proudly presents the second edition of L'Appartamento during Milan Design Week 2024, from April 16th to 21st. This year, the showhouse will be a stunning showcase of Italian craftsmanship and design, located in the historical Residenza Vignale in Milan's 5Vie district.


The space will be thoughtfully curated by six esteemed interior design firms: Elicyon, GACHOT, Rottet Studio, Studio Meshary AlNassar, Tamara Feldman Design, and VSHD Design. Dermophonic: Crafting Sound Portraits

Dermophonic invites you on a unique exploration of art, music, and coffee flavors during Milan Design Week. Nestled within the Starbucks Reserve Roastery Milano, an intimate soundproofed cocoon awaits, adorned with custom embroidery by the artist Elasi, and the creative genius of Matteo Cibic. Together, they craft intricate sound portraits inspired by the dreams and aspirations of each visitor.

The Coccoloba exhibition, an immersive showcase inspired by the diverse ecosystems of the Madeira River region in Brazil. This exhibition, a confluence of design and nature's artistry, presents a unique narrative on sustainability and creativity. Delve into the captivating world of Vico Magistretti's connection with the United Kingdom at the "Il Magistretti Inglese" exhibition. Curated by young London-based architects Viola Pelù and Louis Mayes, this exhibition unveils the intricate relationship between the renowned Italian architect and the UK, highlighting his projects, travels, collaborations, and the lasting impact on his students at London's Royal College of Art (RCA).


Magistretti's admiration for English traditions and his ability to find inspiration in small alterations of reality to create objects of good formal quality are central themes of the exhibition. It's a testament to his belief that the sense of necessity and love for reality are intertwined in British culture, leading to surprising juxtapositions and innovative design.

Being Home: Prada Frames Symposium 2024

The esteemed cultural event, Prada Frames, returns for its third edition during Milan Design Week 2024. Curated by Formafantasma, this year's symposium, titled "Being Home," delves into the intricate relationship between design and the environment, exploring the living space as a crucial context for addressing contemporary challenges.


"Being Home" seeks to redefine the concept of home beyond comfort, viewing it as a shelter and an infrastructure of services. The symposium will feature illustrious contributions from notable figures such as Paola Antonelli, Brigitte Baptiste, Kate Crawford, Jack Halberstam, and others, offering a rich dialogue on the multifaceted nature of our living environments.


Set against the backdrop of the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum, a neo-Renaissance house filled with fifteenth and sixteenth-century objects and furniture, the event promises an immersive experience.
