CC-Tapis | CC-Tapis x Fornasetti

During Milan Design Week 2026, CC-Tapis unveils its collaboration with Fornasetti, translating a selection of the house’s archival motifs into a collection of handcrafted rugs that bring together imagination, symbolism, and artisanal technique. The presentation highlights a meeting point between Fornasetti’s surreal and richly layered visual world and CC-Tapis’ experimental approach to the rug as an expressive, collectible design object.

Crafted in fine natural fibres including Himalayan wool, merino wool, and silk, the pieces pair graphic depth with a tactile richness that gives familiar Fornasetti imagery a new material presence. Presented in Milan from 20 to 26 April, the collection stands out as one of the week’s more playful and atmospheric unveilings, where decorative heritage is reimagined through texture, craftsmanship, and contemporary design language.
